Opera North is delighted to bring a new condensed version of Humperdinck’s magical opera, Hansel and Gretel, to The Leopard in March 2017.

This half-hour performance is a newly adapted English language take on the company’s forthcoming main stage production of Hansel and Gretel. Performed by a small group of professional singers and actors, it offers a probing but light-hearted introduction to opera for young people and people who would not normally have the opportunity to experience the art form.
